FRV crews responded to a house fire in Balwyn North following a call to Triple Zero (000) just before 9:15 am this morning.
Firefighters arrived to the Kosciusko Road scene in six minutes to find a 10 metre x 15 metre fire in a two-storey home and immediately escalated the response.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters extinguished the fire with the incident declared under control at 9:42 am.
Crews conducted a search of the property with all persons accounted for.
