Firefighters respond to Keilor Park fire

FRV firefighters have extinguished a fire which occurred at a Keilor Park home this morning.

Crews were called to the premises on Victory St, Keilor Park at 2.19am, arriving on scene within 6 minutes to find the garage of the home fully aflame.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the home to search for occupants and to stop the fire from spreading. Two people were evacuated from the home and were transferred to the care of Ambulance Victoria.

The fire was declared under control at 3.14am.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

Ambulance Victoria also attended the incident.
