Approximately 40 firefighters responded to a house fire in Ringwood on Tuesday evening.
FRV and CFA crews were called to the Maidstone Street incident just after 6:30pm after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported flames coming from the house.
Firefighters arrived on scene in five minutes to find the house well alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews conducted a search to confirm nobody was inside, and attacked the blaze.
Firefighters contained the fire to the front half of the house, and brought it under control about 20 minutes after they first arrived on scene.
Crews will remain on scene to ensure it is safe, and specialist investigators will attend to determine the cause.
