Firefighters rescue woman from Reservoir apartment

FRV crews rescued a woman from a burning Reservoir property this afternoon.

Crews arrived at the Boldrewood Parade scene at 12.15pm, finding a fire in the bottom floor of a two-storey brick apartment.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews entered the property, finding a woman in the lounge room, not breathing and unconscious.

Crews rescued the woman from the building and assisted Ambulance Victoria paramedics and Victoria Police officers with administering CPR.

At 12.57pm the woman was transported to hospital.

The fire was deemed under control at 1.11pm, and the cause will be investigated.
