Firefighters respond to factory blaze in Coolaroo

Firefighters responded to a 3AL in Coolaroo on Thursday morning following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000)

FRV crews arrived to the Lisa Place scene to find black smoke issuing from a 40 x 20 metre single storey factory.

Upon entry, firefighters found a room fully involved in flames.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the blaze with the incident declared under control by 5:30 am.

Firefighters remained at the scene for some time to extinguish the hot spots.  

The cause of the incident is currently undetermined with the scene handed over to Victoria Police.

Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
