Firefighters respond to Tarneit house fire

FRV and CFA responded to an incident in Tarneit after multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reported flames and smoke issuing from a house

Crews were called to the scene just after 9:30pm to find the fire had already spread throughout the home causing partial collapse of the roof.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters conducted an external attack on the fire and fortunately there were no occupants inside the home

FRV was supported by CFA to bring the incident under control just after 10:30pm.

The fire was deemed to be suspicious and was handed over to Victoria Police for further investigation

Ambulance Victoria paramedics were also on scene assisting with operations.
