Firefighters safely extract crane driver in Windsor incident

Firefighters have responded to an incident on a construction site in Windsor just before 3 pm. 

FRV crews arrived to the Victoria Street scene in six minutes and assisted an unwell crane driver down from their control cabin as the driver was unable to get down safely. 

FRV High Angle Rescue Technicians responded to the incident to ensure the driver got down safely from the seven storey height with Ambulance Victoria on site to assess the driver.

The scene was declared under control at 3:02 pm with Victoria Police also attending the scene.
