FRV crews swiftly contained a significant house fire in Sunshine North on Saturday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the Berkshire Road scene shortly before 7am, finding four rooms of the weatherboard house were alight.
Crews escalated the response, sending additional appliances.
Firefighters undertook an aggressive internal attack, wearing breathing apparatus.
No occupants were home at the time and the house was abandoned, with no gas or power connected.
The scene was then handed to Victoria Police.
