Eight FRV crews responded to a reported building fire in Cheltenham early this morning.
Arriving three minutes, at 1.45am, crews found the back of a Charman Road shop well alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters forced entry to the property crews attacked the fire, which appeared to involve a fork lift.
Using three hose lines, crews were able to bring the fire under control within sevent minutes.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and no injuries were reported.
FRV was assisted by Ambulance Victoria crews and Victoria Police.
