Fire Recue Victoria responded to a house fire in Attwood shortly after midnight on Wednesday 8 July.
Crews arrived to find smoke and flames issuing from the single storey brick veneer home. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines on the blaze and were able to bring the fire under control at 12.48am, 20 minutes after arriving on scene.
The house has sustained significant damage in the fire. All occupants of the home evacuated safely without injury.
The cause has been deemed as lithium batteries on charge, which then caught fire.
