Firefighters tackle Campbellfield factory fire

FRV firefighters were quick on the scene in Campbellfield where a factory fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.

Crews were called to the Dennis Street premises just after 5am and arrived within four minutes to find a blaze burning on both levels of the two-storey factory.

Firefighters entered the factory and were able to quickly gain the upper hand, bringing it under control within about 30 minutes of arrival.

At this stage the fire is believed to be suspicious and Victoria Police will investigate.

Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
