Approximately 28 firefighters responded to a house fire in Caulfield North following multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reporting flames emitting from a two story home shortly before 5:45 p.m. on Sunday evening.
FRV crews arrived within six minutes to find the house engulfed in flames and threatening an adjacent property.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and aggressively attacked the blaze, bring the incident under control in twenty-four minutes.
The house sustained significant damage and crews will remain on scene to completely extinguish the fire and secure the premises.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation with Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attending on scene.
