FRV crews from Lara and Corio Fire Stations responded to the scene and found a shed on fire and threatening neighbouring houses.
Firefighters worked to knock down the blaze and brought the fire under control within 15 minutes.
One occupant was handed into the care of Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
At the height of the incident there were three FRV appliances and a command unit at the scene, supported by a number of CFA crews.
Victoria Police also assisted at the scene.
