Initial firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a weatherboard house fully involved in the blaze.

CFA appliances were also responded to the scene to support FRV crews, and firefighters worked together to attack the fire externally.

A Community Advice message has been issued for smoke in the area, and there are road closures in place along Bridge Street.

The fire was declared under control one hour after firefighters arrived at the scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown and an FRV Fire Investigation and Analysis team will attend.

Luckily, no one was home at the time of the fire.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria units also provided support on scene.
