FRV brings apartment fire under control at Princess Hill

On Monday 6 April, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to several calls of an apartment on fire at Wilson Street in Princes Hill.

Crews arrived on scene within seven minutes to find fire in a second level apartment, around 5m by 10m.

Fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, made entry to ensure all persons were evacuated.

The fire was deemed under control by 1.40pm.

The cause of the fire was deemed suspicious and the scene handed over to Victoria Police.

Around 30 firefighters, 5 pumper trucks and two other units were involved in the response.
