FRV brings Deanside fire under control

At 10.38AM, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) attended an incident on Dalmore Street at Deanside following a call to Triple Zero.

FRV crews arrived on the scene to find a fire in the roof space of a house. The response was escalated.

FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and attacked the fire, bringing it under control by 10.59AM.

The fire was contained to the roof space and firefighters removed the ceiling to check on fire extension.

A single occupant self-evacuated and there were no injuries.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria assisted FRV crews.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
