Fire Recue Victoria responded to a house fire in Springvale around 5am this morning, following calls to Triple Zero (000).
FRV crew arrived on scene in 6 minutes to find the home fully engulfed in flames. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the flames declaring the situation under control just after 6am.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported. A community warning was issued due to the significant smoke in the area.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene providing assistance.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
