FRV crews have responded to a house fire at Droop Street in Footscray this afternoon after a number of callers alerted Triple Zero (000).
They were on scene within three minutes to find smoke issuing from the roof and threatening neighbouring properties.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the fire.
The cause is not yet known and will be investigated.
Officers from Victoria Police as well as Ambulance Victoria paramedics were on scene assisting FRV crews.
