At 10.05am, Fire Rescue Victoria crews, assisted by CFA, were alerted to a house fire in Clockwise Street at Greenvale this morning.
The fire involved two townhouses under construction with fire spreading into the roof spaces of the properties.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus to attack the fire internally and brought the fire under control 40 minutes.
All construction workers had safely evacuated the townhouses, with no injuries reported.
An aerial fire truck was used to assist in extinguishing the fire.
It has not yet been established what caused the fire.
