FRV crews contain fire at Taylors Hill

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to multiple triple zero calls for a house fire at Callista Circuit in Taylors Hill this afternoon.

Firefighters arrived to find a double storey duplex residence of brick veneer construction fully ablaze.

Due to the intensity of the fire on adjoining residential properties, crews were unable to enter the building to search for occupants, although early reports indicated that no persons were inside. 

Firefighters conducted an external attack on the fire using multiple hose lines and an aerial appliance. crews arrived on scene.

Both residential homes in the duplex have been destroyed by the fire.

The fire has been deemed as suspicious. 

A community advice was issued for smoke in the area.

Police and Ambulance were also on scene.
