More than 20 FRV firefighters are responding to a house fire in Glen Waverley.
A caller to Triple Zero (000) reported the fire shortly after 7.35am on Friday morning.
Crews arrived at the Knights Drive scene within six minutes.
Upon arrival, crews found the roof space of a single storey brick house was well alight, with a significant amount of smoke issuing from the property.
Crews immediately escalated the response.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews conducted a search of the property, finding no occupants were inside.
Firefighters worked together to attack the fire, bringing it under control shortly before 8:05am.
Crews remain on scene to fully extinguish the fire.
FRV was supported by CFA, Ambulance Victoria paramedics and Victoria Police.
