FRV crews responded to a house fire at St Albans Road in St Albans after Triple 000 call takers received several calls.
The first FRV crew arrived on scene quickly and escalated the response as fire engulfed the abandoned house sending smoke across the suburb.
FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and attacked the fire and managed to bring the fire under control by 9.46am as crews checked for fire extension into
neighbouring properties.
The house was abandoned. FRV conducted a search to confirm no-one has been impacted by this fire.
The cause of the fire has been deemed to be suspicious, so the scene was handed over to Victoria Police
Ambulance Victoria paramedics were also on scene.
