FRV crews fight Craigieburn house fire

At 12.39AM on 12 May, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to a house fire in Craigieburn following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000). 

 

Crews arrived on scene within 5 minutes to find a single storey brick house issuing flames and smoke. 

 

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and worked to extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring buildings. 

 

The incident was deemed Under Control within 60 minutes.

 

No occupants were home at the time and no injuries were reported. 

 

The cause of the fire is being investigated. 

 

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were on scene to support firefighting activities. 

 

Community Advice was issued to advise of smoke in the area.
