More than 30 FRV Firefighters responded to a significant fire at a reception centre in Keilor East on Friday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the Tunnecliffe Court scene shortly after 7am, within minutes of the fire being reported to Triple Zero (000).
Upon arrival, firefighters found thick smoke and fire was issuing from the rear of the reception centre and additional FRV firefighting appliances were responded to assist.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the premises and found nobody was inside the building.
Firefighters brought the scene under control at 7.45am.
Extensive fire damage has occurred to the kitchen, laundry and roof space of the property. The remainder of the property has been smoke damaged.
FRV specialist Fire Investigators are currently on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
