FRV crews respond to rupture of gas main at Forest Hill

A gas main has become ruptured on Springvale Road near the corner of
Norma Road.

FRV crews arrived on scene within six minutes and escalated the event to a Hazmat Incident.

Police were called to assist with nearby evacuations and Traffic Control.

Crews are currently on scene working with the local Gas Authority to rectify the leak.
