FRV fights significant grass and scrub fire at Strathtulloh

Fire rescue Victoria is fighting a significant grass and scrub fire in Westbourne Street at Strathtulloh.

CFA firefighters are also responding to this incident.

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) was called to the incident at 7.46pm after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a spreading fire.

The response was escalated.

Firefighters are on scene and the fire is not yet under control.

Nearby residents are being evacuated by Victoria Police.

There is a large amount of smoke in the area.
