Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews brought a Northcote house fire under control after multiple calls to Triple Zero around 4.00AM on 11 April.

FRV’s response was increased to a 2nd alarm due to the number of calls and the residence having a large fuel load.

FRV was on the scene in less than five minutes.

The house was found to be fully involved with fire, with houses on both sides impacted.

All persons from the houses on either side of the fire were accounted for, and the house involved was believed to be vacant.

Ambulance Victoria assisted FRV on scene.

The scene was called under control at 5.02AM.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and Victoria Police is investigating.
