Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to a house fire in Marriot Road at Keilor Downs on Friday evening following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000).
Crews arrived on scene within five minutes to find the garage of a double storey dwelling issuing flames and smoke, spreading to the adjoining home.
Wearing beathing apparatus (BA), firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, bringing the incident under control within 40 minutes, containing the fire to the property of origin.
Seven occupants, evacuated from the home prior to brigade arrival. No injuries were reported.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were on scene to support firefighting activities.
