FRV respond to building fire in Sunshine in the early hours of the morning

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to a building fire in Sunshine this morning just before 4am, following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000). 

FRV crew arrived on scene to find a building fully alight. The building has a common roof space and the fire had spread to surrounding shops.

Firefighters worked to contain and extinguish the blaze. The incident is now under control.

The building has been significantly damaged, and firefighters will be on scene most of the day to monitor.

There have been no reported injuries. The cause is being treated as suspicious. 

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene providing assistance.
