FRV firefighters were called to North Wharf, Docklands, just after 4.30am this morning following multiple Triple Zero (000) calls reporting smoke and flames.
Fire crews arrived on scene to find a commercial barge on fire. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames and declared the incident under control within six minutes of arrival.
The cause of the incident is currently unknown.
