FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Pascoe Vale this morning after receiving multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) just after 4.30am.
On arrival firefighters found a two-story unit fully alight.
Firefighters assisted a number of people to evacuate their neighbouring units.
The fire was contained to one unit and was brought under control in just over 20 minutes. 10 appliances attended the scene.
One person who had self-evacuated before firefighters arrived was taken to hospital by Ambulance Victoria.
At this stage, the cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious.
