Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to a Triple Zero (000) call reporting a house fire at Craigieburn Road, Mickleham, around 2:40AM this morning.
FRV crews arrived on scene in 5 minutes to find the derelict single storey brick veneer home was engulfed by fire. The structure was destroyed by the blaze.
The cause of the fire is suspicious and will be investigated by Victoria Police.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria attended in support of FRV operations.
