Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to a house on fire in De Burgh Court at Viewbank this morning following several calls to Triple Zero (000) at around 1.26AM.
Crews arrived on scene to find the house issuing fire and smoke from the roof, so the response was escalated.
FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and began an internal attack on the fire, as well as protecting the neighbouring properties.
The fire was deemed under control by 2.04AM.
All occupants were safely evacuated from the house and were assessed by Ambulance Victoria for smoke exposure.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but it will be investigated by FRV specialists.
Firefighters will remain on scene for some time, to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
