Keysborough factory fire under control

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) and the CFA are currently on scene at a factory fire in Olive Grove Keysborough which manufactures plastics.

FRV was notified early this morning, at around 5:20am by a passing Victoria Police patrol that the factory was on alight.

30 FRV and CFA appliances arrived on scene to fight the large intense fire which has created a plume of smoke.

The fire was deemed under control just before 7:45am. A watch and act notice has been issued to the community.

The large plume of smoke will begin to descend and residents are advised to close windows and turn off air conditioners.
