Approximately 30 firefighters responded to a house fire in Greensborough early on Thursday morning.
FRV crews were called to the Glamis Street fire just before 2:00am and arrived to find the vacant unit fully alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters helped occupants to evacuate a neighbouring unit, before attacking the fire.
They brought the blaze under control within 22 minutes and a search confirmed no one was inside.
Specialist FRV fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
