HART specialists rescue injured worker in Preston

Fire Rescue Victoria firefighters and High Angle Rescue Technicians (HART) responded to Preston today after a man became injured working at height.

Crews were alerted to the incident on Osborne Grove just before midday and arrived to find the worker on the second floor of a building site with a leg injury.

More than 20 FRV firefighters were on scene to assess the area and formulate a plan to bring the person to safety.

Once the worker was stabilised, firefighters set up rope lines to lower the person to the ground and into the care of Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
