High angle rescue in Studly Park Road Kew

At 8.32AM, FRV High Angle Rescue crews reached the patient, placing him in a rescue basket for transfer and extraction to a lower track.

At 7.18AM, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Studly Park Road Kew, after caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a person had fallen into the Yarra River.

Crews arrived on scene opposite Collingwood Children’s Farm and found a man had fallen down the embankment due to the wet conditions.

FRV High Angle Rescue crews responded and are extracting a 50-year-old male who is in a stable condition. Ambulance Victoria is on the scene attending to the patient.

Victoria Police is on the scene for traffic control.
