Approximately 22 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Hoppers Crossing early on Monday morning.
Multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported the house on Wiltonvale Avenue was well alight, just before 2:00am.
FRV and CFA firefighters arrived on scene in six minutes to find the house fully alight.
Fortunately the only occupant of the house had safety evacuated.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the fire and brought it under control in five minutes.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental.
