30 FRV firefighters responded to a house fire in Kings Park this morning after receiving several Triple Zero (000) calls.

Firefighters arrived to the Falcon Walk incident at 6.15am to find a house and garage well involved in fire and threatening other nearby buildings. Several people had self-evacuated from the building.

FRV Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus immediately conducted a search of the house, finding no one inside, before commencing an aggressive attack on the flames using water hose lines.

Crews then worked to extinguish flames from the car parked within the garage, which was leaking fuel onto the floor.

The fire was deemed under control at 7.50am with crews remaining on scene to ensure the site is safe.

CFA assisted FRV at the scene. Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene to assist FRV and a Community Warning for thick smoke in the area was issued. Thankfully, no one was injured.
