When FRV Firefighters arrived to the home on Bellbrae Court just minutes later the entire house was engulfed in flames.

Wearing breathing apparatus for protection from the smoke, crews commenced an aggressive attack on the exterior of the building.

Their efforts ensured the fire was brought under control within 20 minutes.

Thankfully the house was unoccupied and there are no reports of injury.

At this stage it’s not known what caused the fire to start.

FRV’s specialist Fire Investigation and Analysis unit will attend the scene once it has been made safe to determine the cause.

Ambulance Victoria paramedics and Victoria Police were on scene to assist.

At the height of the blaze there were approximately 22 firefighters on scene on board five pumpers, a rescue unit, an aerial unit and three other Command and support units.
