30 firefighters responded to a house fire in Meadow Heights on Saturday morning.

FRV crews were called to the Yeo Court address at 11.43am after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported flames issuing from the roof of the home.

Firefighters arrived on scene in six minutes to find the entire house fully alight, and quickly escalated the response.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews conducted a search of the property to ensure no one was inside.

Firefighters worked quickly to attack the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring properties.

The fire was declared under control in just under an hour, at 12.44pm.

Crews will remain on scene into the afternoon, to ensure all hotspots are extinguished and to make the scene safe.

At the height of the incident, there were 11 FRV appliances on scene, including five Pumpers, one Aerial Unit and one Rescue Unit.

FRV was supported by Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police.
