Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to multiple Triple Zero calls for a building fire at Sheldon Place in Clayton South late this morning.

Firefighters arrived to find two sheds at the rear of the residential property fully ablaze.

Firefighters got to work quickly with hose lines to quell the fire and stop its spread to a nearby house.

Both sheds were destroyed in the fire, but the house was not impacted.

The fire is believed to have started from a barbeque being used. No injuries have been reported.

FRV was on scene for several hours fully extinguishing the fire.

Safety procedures were implemented due to asbestos being present in the structure.
