At 6.24pm on Sunday 24 August, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to Park Hill Drive, Ringwood North after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.
Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a single storey brick house fully involved in flames.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews got to work quickly using multiple hose lines with an external attack due to the intensity of the fire.
The fire was declared under control at 07:04pm, 34 minutes after FRV arrived on scene. The fire was contained to the building of origin, however the house sustained significant damage in the fire.
Two occupants of the home had safely evacuated and were assessed on scene by Ambulance Victoria paramedics
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but will be investigated by FRV State Fire Investigation Unit.
Firefighters will remain on scene overnight overhauling the scene.
