Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes and found three people had become trapped in a vehicle after the collision.
FRV Heavy Rescue specialists began to dismantle the car, working to free all three people trapped inside.
At the height of the incident there were two firefighting appliances along with one rescue unit and a command unit at the scene.
Firefighters managed to safely extricate all patients from the vehicle within 25 minutes.
The patients were handed into the care of Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
The scene was handed to Victoria Police.
