Roxburgh Park house fire

Firefighters were in Roxburgh Park overnight after a fire broke out in the roof of a house.

Crews were called to the Bonney Place address shortly before 2am and arrived on scene within six minutes to find a large fire had engulfed the roof space of the home.

The occupants of the property had self evacuated prior to crews' arrival.

Firefighters worked quickly and were able to get the blaze under control in just over an hour.

The cause of the incident is being investigated.
