Seaford house fire

FRV firefighters, assisted by CFA firefighters, were called to Seaford this afternoon, following a house fire. 

Crews arrived at the Henry Crescent address about 3.50pm and arrived to find smoke and flames engulfing the property. 

Firefighters have conducted a search of the property and at this stage it’s believed all occupants are accounted for. 

The blaze, impacted by a large fuel load, threatened neighbouring properties but crews managed to gain control of the incident by about 5pm. 

The property has been destroyed by the fire, with a number of neighbouring homes and a shed also receiving damage. 

It’s expected that firefighters will be on scene for some time longer before handing the incident over to Victoria Police for investigation.
