Six people evacuated from house fire in Sunshine North.

At 2.16AM Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded for a house fire in Phoenix St, Sunshine North.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at on six minutes to a single storey brick veneer home measuring 20m x 20m heavily involved by fire.

Firefighters worked to prevent the fire spreading and conducted a search for the occupants. 

Six people were home at the time, all were evacuated with two requiring treatment for smoke inhalation by Ambulance Victoria. 

Ambulance Victoria transported three patients to hospital one suffering smoke inhalation and two others for minor injuries. 

The fire was deemed Under Control at 2.53AM

The cause of the fire was not deemed suspicious. FRV crews will remain on scene until late this morning. 

Victoria Police were on the scene to assist FRV operations.
