Specialist Rescue Operators respond to multi-car crash in Cheltenham

Fire Rescue Victoria firefighters freed two people who were trapped in their cars following a triple vehicle collision in Cheltenham last night.

Crews were called to the smash on Charman Road just before 10.30pm and arrived in six minutes to find two people trapped in two separate cars. The occupants of a third vehicle had evacuated prior to their arrival.

FRV Specialist Rescue Operators worked to free the occupants and make the scene safe.

Several people were treated by Ambulance Victoria paramedics.

Victoria Police is investigating the incident.
