An agreement between FRV and FFMV is being prepared to set out how both agencies will work in support of each other within and across the respective districts.
In the meantime, there are response plans in place for incidents that occur on private and public lands in FRV’s district, and additional FRV and CFA units can dispatched as per existing emergency arrangements.
This does not have an impact on the vital service the state's fire and rescue agencies deliver to keep them safe.
