The commencement of Fire Rescue Victoria has delivered an improved level of service to the Victorian community, and provided the opportunity to take fire and rescue service delivery to the next level.
Last week Fire Rescue Commissioner Block addressed some of FRV’s operational senior leaders in an internal meeting.
The Commissioner shared his observations after seven months of operations under FRV, and outlined opportunities for improvement.
He also communicated his expectations of Senior Officer Leadership to recognise the opportunities presented for FRV to embrace a culture based on continuous improvement and to progress our work of delivering the best service possible to the community.
The Commissioner is committed to excellence and reform, and he expects that of his leadership.
FRV is progressing well and the community can be assured that in their time of need the organisation will continue to provide the highest level of service.
